The Beginning
Three friends—Maya, Liam, and Sofia—returned from their travels with a shared concern about tourism's environmental impact and the disconnect between travelers and local communities.
Research & Development
The team conducted extensive research on greener tourism practices and began developing the AI algorithms that would power Kelana's recommendations.
Beta Launch
Kelana launched in beta with 500 early adopters who helped refine the platform and provided valuable feedback on the user experience.
